How to Request an ILL Book

Using MOBIUS

For books not in our catalog (as well as some other physical media, like DVDs, CDs, or sheet music), we recommend using MOBIUS. MOBIUS is a giant catalog containing over 10 million items from over 70 libraries in the Midwest.

The MOBIUS catalog can be searched from within the Smiley Memorial Library catalog, or directly from the "Books" tab of the Smiley Memorial Library website. You sign into MOBIUS using your Eagle Mail account.

Using the ILL Form

If a book or other physical material can't be found in MOBIUS, fill out our Interlibrary Loan form. It can be found on Books tab of the Library website.

Books requested via the ILL form usually take 7-10 business days to arrive.
