Using Google Scholar
Google Scholar (https://scholar.google.com) is a search engine specifically focused on scholarly literature and communications-- which means peer-reviewed journals and resources. While Library databases connect to publishers' websites, Google Scholar will sometimes find version of the articles which are free (like preprints or postprints) or open access (available in university repositories).
This means that Google Scholar is an option to find the articles you need, for free, and without waiting for ILL!
