Parasitic diseases are caused by a parasite that uses "a host organism and gets its food from or at the expense of the host" (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). The web pages linked below provide more information on parasitic diseases.

Please Note: Some of the parasites listed in the resources linked below will not work for the semester-long project. Only internal parasites can be used for this project.
