Check out the Library's Blind Date with a Book display! How does it work? We will have a collection of popular fiction books set aside as blind date candidates for you to choose from. The books will be wrapped up in paper and you won't be able to see anything about the book other than its first line, its genre, and a brief description. Choose your blind date, take it to the front desk, check it out, then take it home and unwrap it. The book could be a dud or it could be a diamond in the rough, but you will never know until you give it a shot!
Check out the Library's new display to learn more about Professor George Smiley and the 1928 opening of Smiley Memorial Library. The display is located in the lobby underneath the portrait of Professor Smiley.
